The Hoopers bought their 3400 sq. ft. Colonial in 1999. They have done numerous upgrades including replacement windows and doors, added insulation in the attic (through the National Grid/ Mass Save program which included all lights upgraded to LED), new efficient natural gas heating/ AC units, and new siding. Their Tesla Solar Glass Roof was installed to provide greener electricity for their home and two electric cars. The roof generates credits from Marblehead Light during the summer months. Total electricity generated in last 2 years: 14.23 MWh.
