If you’ve ever wondered what it actually looks like to make your home more energy-efficient, you’re not alone. Come and find out at our 3rd Green Homes Tour!

The GHT offers a chance to step inside Marblehead homes and see how your neighbors are making practical, meaningful upgrades. On May 2 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Sustainable Marblehead will host tours featuring nine homes, including five new properties and four returning favorites from past tours.

Each home tells a slightly different story. Some have added insulation or new windows to improve comfort. Others have installed heat pumps, solar panels, or other technologies to reduce energy use and lower utility bills. Together, they show that there’s no single path, but a range of options that homeowners can explore over time. Visitors can see upgrades in action, ask homeowners questions, and come away with a clearer sense of what might work in their own space.

This year we also have the pleasure of introducing our new team of volunteer, trained Energy Coaches during the tours. They will be on hand to answer questions and set up meetings with attendees to work with them one-on-one to address their specific situations.

Tickets are $10 per person and registration is now open.

Whether you’re just starting to think about energy improvements or already planning your next project, the Green Homes Tour is a great way to gather ideas and see what’s possible.
