Town Tree Planting

The shade trees have been ordered by our Town Tree Warden, Jon Fobert, and we’re excited to get them in the ground. We’ll kick off at 8:30 am with a brief training session led by Jon, who will guide volunteers on proper preparation and planting techniques. Even if you’ve participated in past years, we encourage everyone to attend this instruction, as planting methods can vary based on location and tree species.

The full planting process typically takes about four hours, but you’re welcome to join for as long as you’re able—every helping hand makes a difference. This is a great activity for families and children. We’d love to have you be part of this community effort. If you’d like to volunteer, please sign up here.
