Come see clean energy technology in action at our Mini-Green Home Tour! Visit a local home that has embraced sustainability through a series of impressive upgrades and learn how you might do the same. This home features:
Efficiency upgrades: replacement windows and doors, added attic insulation through the National Grid/Mass Save program, and a full transition to LED lighting.
Smarter systems: new high-efficiency heating and AC units, plus new siding for comfort and savings.
Solar power in action: a Tesla Solar Glass Roof (12.6 kW, installed in 2021) that provides electricity for the home and two electric vehicles.
Next-level energy storage: in May 2025, the homeowners added a Tesla Powerwall Gen 3 (13.5 kWh capacity) and a Span smart circuit breaker panel.
Over just 4.5 years, this solar roof has generated 36.6 MWh of clean electricity with surplus power sent back to the grid for credit on their MMLD bill.
