About the event
Please join us at Endicott College for a free showing of the documentary film "Inundation District" followed by a Q&A with film director, David Abel. This film, based on the Seaport District in Boston--otherwise known as the "Innovation District"--takes a hard look at rising tides and the impact on the Seaport. Topics explored include the science behind climate change, feasible solutions, policy and legislative pushes, and the effects on vulnerable populations.
Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. This event is free and open to the public! Childcare will be provided free of cost by certified volunteers. Please contact elacey@endicott.edu to reserve free childcare.
This event is co-hosted by Green Beverly. Before and after the film, Sustainable Marblehead, Ipswich River Watershed Association, Salem Sound CoastWatch, and other local non-profits will be present for attendees to learn ways they are working to be a part of the climate crisis solution and how they can help.
