Our world's ecology is at great risk. Greenhouse gases, plastic waste, and toxins have profoundly impacted our air, oceans, and land, and we must respond now. Meeting our own needs should not jeopardize the ability of future generations to meet theirs. This Fair, hosted by our Community Charter Public School, is Sustainable Marblehead’s first effort to offer new ideas, models, and practices (both personal and systemic) that we can adopt TODAY. The offerings are broad and deep, and there is something for everyone, including world-class entertainment. With laughter and joy we can surmount these challenges, and protect our planet for our children and grandchildren.

Andrew Dunbar, Kakosi Chocolate (Breakwater Foods) - “Kakosi Chocolate was founded by two brothers from Venezuela, who originally started the company to help out their friends and family members who grew and sold cacao. The idea was to help them to grow cacao naturally, so that they could live healthier lives without pesticides, and be able to sell organic cacao at a better price. For us, food tastes better knowing it is ethically and sustainably produced. We want to ensure that the highest quality and best sourced cacao products end up in your hands. And we want to make sure that all the hard work that it takes to bring it to you, will result in better lives for the farmers and their families."
